Dr. Annie Thompson is a chiropractic physician, a certified nutritionist and a birth doula. Her mission is: “to provide all people an avenue for health and healing through access to loving care, and sound information regarding their own body and its innate ability to be well.”

Initial Visit:

Length: 45 minutes to 1 Hour
Cost: $100
Description:
A first visit will include a thorough discussion about the patient’s health history, including any trauma, injury, internal disorders, medications, past or present illnesses, and goals are for health and longevity.  Dr. Thompson will also cover some basic details regarding diet, as the foods we eat play a very important role in maintaining our ability to heal and be well.  Vitals will be taken and an exam will be performed on the area of chief complaint.  If the client is coming for wellness care then this will be brief and will include range of motion, reflexes, muscle strength, and functional assessment.  If the client has an injury or illness, the exam will be more detailed and specific to that complaint.  From the information gathered during the history and physical assessment, a diagnosis and plan for treatment and healing will be established.  Dr. Thompson welcomes and encourages every patient to provide input and guidance on what they feel is reasonable and feasible treatment taking into account their lifestyle and health goals. Based upon the information shared and observed chiropractic treatment will be included.

Follow-up Visits:

Length: approximately 30 minutes
Cost: $70
Description:
Follow-up visits will include treatment, reassessment, teaching of exercises and implementing changes to lifestyle to prevent reoccurrence of condition. Treatment is based upon the individual patient, and will follow the treatment plan outlined in the initial visit.

Insurance:

Dr. Thompson is not in-network with any insurance company. All necessary information will be provided for client to have chiropractic care reimbursed through their insurance company, if covered

Note: Because Annie is a birth doula, and attends labor and birth for her patients to provide support, information, advocacy and comfort measures, she is on call several weeks out of the year.  In the event that she is attending a birth during your scheduled appointment you will receive a call in advance to reschedule at a time that works for you.  Annie understands that this can at times be inconvenient and therefore limits the number of births she attends each year, and will work with you to see you as your schedule permits."
