Meet Alain Bolea
Alain Bolea is a management advisor who helps clients discover prosperity and well-being by integrating the necessity of “making money” and the desire to “do the right thing.” Alain works with individuals as an executive coach and facilitates group processes. He blends extensive business knowledge with a deep sensitivity to the dynamics of human interaction. With clarity and good humor, Alain illuminates what appears economically impossible.
For the past seven years, Alain has followed an intense spiritual path that has expanded his insights about himself and his experiences. He embodies the truth that, although numbers are important, the true essence of management is holistic and spiritual in nature. His passion is helping managers reconcile the economic pressures of the moment with their own deep aspirations to create a better future.
With more than 25 years as a Wall Street banker, consultant, international CFO and board member of corporate and family businesses, Alain’s career spans large corporations, small businesses and not-for-profits in sectors ranging from telecom to education. From 2005 to 2007, Alain served as CFO and acting COO of a $50 million Geneva-based educational organization recently acquired by US venture company, Meritas. In 2007, Alain resumed his full time work with Business Advisors which he founded in 2002. Prior to 2002, Alain was a Managing Director of Deutsche Bank Securities in New York, in charge of telecom financings, and oversaw a $3bn portfolio of investments in debt and equity. He understands that while organizations may differ, people in groups tend to behave in similar ways.
Alain earned an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management (Phoenix, AZ.) He holds an MA and a Political Science degree from the University of Lyon (France.) He is a Certified Professional in Managing Workplace Conflict and is trained in the methodology of Future Search. He is fluent in English, French and Spanish, and speaks Italian and some German.
