Part of the wonder and delight of Harmony Farm is the beautiful artwork and sculpture which graces the facility and gardens. Here you will see photos of these pieces along with the thoughts that inspired the artists.

| “The Ascent and other pieces depicting man helping man originated out of a desire to put into a tangible and realistic form the very essence of life. About ten years ago I had a very large mountain to climb, a serious personal crisis , if you will. It was through that climb that I came to closer understanding what life is all about. I was the bottom figure and my friends were the ones above, pulling me up the mountain. They didn't question me , judge me, or pity me, but rather they were sensitive to my plight and extended their hand. Without their help I wouldn't have made it. What it boils down to is that those pieces came from deep inside. I had to struggle and dig from them. Imagine the gratification that has come as I've watched these pieces become my most successful ones. We can all relate-we've all, at one time or another, had someone reach out and lift us up. And now let us do the same. |

| Stained Glass Window at the Heart Center |
|

“In one word, the window means ‘balance’ to me. The dominant circular line, itself a symbol of the never-ending, serves to represent the earth at the bottom of the window, and the sky at the top. The flowing lines represent "life of the earth" with roots anchored securely below the ground line. The glass jewels are pebbles within the earth. As the flowing lines near the sky/horizon portion of the circle, they assume a reaching character. As greenery reaches instinctually for sunlight. Man seeks the spiritual realm: sustenance for both.”
“Rooted in the earth, reaching for the spiritual, life is not static. Everyone seeks, sometimes unknowingly, that harmonious balance within one's soul. As the tides of the sea move forward and backward, we are always 'becoming.' The shades of blue offer the feel of the sea, the glass jewels becoming the bubbles in the surf. The Chinese character is a literal symbol of this life process.”
